Ministry of Finance paid Denar 77.6 million as subsidies for growing garden crops to 5,501 farmers.

Financial support amounts from 25 thousand denars to 30 thousand denars per hectare, depending on which garden crop is grown.

Subsidies were paid to farmers, who grow tomato, pepper, cucumber, pumpkin, onion, broccoli, garlic, watermelon, cabbage, courgette and other garden crops throughout the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.

Government of the Republic of Macedonia, by regularly paying subsidies to farmers, remains committed to supporting the agriculture, which is one of the driving branches of Macedonian economy.
