27th May 2026, Ljubljana - Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, is undertaking a working visit to CEF – Center of Excellence in Finance in Ljubljana, Slovenia, as part of the activities aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and this regional organization.As part of the visit, the Minister met with the Director of CEF, Ms. Jana Repanšek, as well as the organization’s team, where discussions focused on the ongoing cooperation, the shared priorities as regards public finance management and the reforms, as well as the need for further strengthening of the institutional capacities.Minister also met with Ms. Mateja Vraničar Erman, Chair of CEF Advisory Board, where views were exchanged on the role of CEF in supporting regional cooperation, knowledge sharing, and professional development of public administration.Republic of Macedonia and Ministry of Finance maintain a long-standing and successful cooperation with CEF, as a result of which programs, the Ministry’s staff, together with their counterparts from other institutions, have strengthened their professional capacities.
Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska holds the chairmanship of CEF Governing Board this year. To that end, a session of CEF Governing Board will be held in Skopje on 22nd June, while the visit to Slovenia forms part of the preparations for organizing the upcoming session.
As part of this visit, Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska will also deliver an address to the participants of an international training organized by CEF, dedicated to strengthening the capacities of public sector employees.
