19th September 2025, Skopje – Ministry of Finance and the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering (FINKI) are deepening their cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation. Today, Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, and Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Professor Petre Lameski, PhD, signed the respective Memorandum of Cooperation.
As noted by the signatories during the signing ceremony, the Memorandum of Cooperation aims to promote and affirm areas of mutual interest, facilitate exchange of professional experience, and contribute to the development of public policies through digital and innovative solutions.
“The Ministry of Finance and FINKI, guided by their mission and objectives, via this Memorandum, open up an opportunity for joint actions and cooperation as regards wide range of activities of mutual interest”, Minister Dimitrieska stated.
The Memorandum outlines cooperation in carrying out research and analysis, developing, participating in, and implementing projects, as well as activities related to professional development through trainings, conferences, seminars, and alike, thus also providing for support of the digitalization process of the Ministry of Finance, closer cooperation between the Public Finance Academy within MoF and FINKI, engagement of MoF experts in the Faculty’s teaching process, further training and skills development of MoF employees, as well as other forms of knowledge and experience exchange.
This cooperation represents an integral aspect of the MoF’s broader commitment to building partnerships with the academic community. The Ministry has previously entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Faculty of Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, aimed at fostering expert exchange and enhancing capacities in areas of shared interest.
