5th August 2026, Skopje –Ministry of Finance informs that the issuance of government securities listed today on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange are issued in accordance with the domestic borrowing projections set out in the 2026 Budget and the 2026 Supplementary Budget adopted by Parliament. Furthermore, the issuance of the respective government securities was transparently communicated on the Ministry of Finance's website – Calendar for Issuance of Government Securities for both the third and fourth quarter, published in the course of June 2026. The prospectuses for conducting auctions of government securities, containing the terms and conditions and the dates of the auctions, are also transparently published on the Ministry of Finance's website.
Today, the Ministry of Finance also published data on the Budget execution for the period between 1st January and 31st July 2026, indicating that the budget revenues have been collected as per the projections, registering an increase compared to the same period previous year, while budget obligations were met as projected.
As of 31st July 2026 inclusive, data on 2026 Budget execution show that total revenues amount to Denar 204,553 billion, accounting for 53.9% of the projections, being up by 9.3% year-on-year. Tax revenues, as genuine revenues, have been collected in the amount of Denar 117,963 billion, accounting for 55.33% of the projections, with a 10% rise compared to the same period last year.
Highest performance, with respect to tax revenues, has been recorded at CIT revenues at 62.8% of the projections, with Denar 16,687 billion being collected - 20.6% increase in relation to the same period in 2025. VAT revenues have reached Denar 53,026 billion or 56.78% of the projections, increasing by 13.4% year-on-year. PIT revenues have been collected in the amount of Denar 20,925 billion, accounting for 53.93% of the projections, with an 11.9% increase relative to the same period last year. Revenues on the basis of import duties have been collected in the amount of Denar 9,361 billion, accounting for 56.4% of the projections and increasing by 10.3%. VAT refund to companies has amounted to Denar 23,333 billion, being by 3.5% higher compared to the period January - July 2025.
On the expenditure side, capital expenditures have been executed in the amount of Denar 21,288 billion, increasing by 39.6% in relation to their execution in the first seven months in 2025.
Debt liabilities on the basis of prior borrowings on the foreign market have also been repaid, amounting to Denar 49,351 billion, with Denar 11,665 billion debt repayment towards domestic creditors. Furthermore, Denar 308 million has been paid on the basis of denationalization bonds.
