7th October 2026, Skopje - At today’s session, the Government reviewed and adopted the draft modifications and amendments to the 2026 Budget (2026 Supplementary Budget).
Under the proposed amendments, budget revenues and expenditures are aligned with the fiscal impact of the measures the Government introduced to support both the citizens and the businesses, implemented through reductions in fuel excise duties and VAT.
Total revenues are projected in the amount of Denar 374.2 billion, while the expenditures are set at Denar 420.5 billion, with the budget deficit remaining unchanged.
The amendments seek to preserve stability of public finances, ensure continuous and regular functioning of the institutions, implementation of planned programs and timely servicing of all liabilities.
Draft modifications and amendments to the 2026 Budget will be submitted to the Parliament for further review and adoption.
