15th September 2025, Skopje - Today, Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, met with senior representatives from the Bank of America. The meeting involving Miloš Starović, Managing Director, Head of EM Sales and Structuring Solutions, Oleg Petrov, Managing Director of CEEMEA DCM, and Amirah Bowes-Gardiner, FICC Structuring Director, focused on macroeconomic indicators, economic trends and the implementation of reform processes, with particular emphasis on public finance management reforms.
Minister highlighted the continuous positive economic trends since the beginning of the year, with GDP growth of 3.4% in the second quarter, a decline in unemployment, boosted export and similar. She also noted that these trends have been accompanied by a sound Budget revenue collection, all the while maintaining the path of fiscal consolidation.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Government maintains ongoing communication with international financial and banking institutions in order to provide easier access to global financial markets, all to the end of implementing the reform processes and projects, being a main driving force for a sustainable economic growth and the country’s development.
