9 th July 2025, Skopje - Sixteen international financial institutions and commercial banks submitted Letters of Interest in financing the High-Speed Railway Line along Corridor X to the Ministry of Finance.
In the coming period, the Ministry of Finance will analyze and evaluate the received Letters of Interest in financing the High-Speed Railway Line along Corridor X Project.
In fact, the Ministry has submitted the Request for Expression of Interest to 24 financial institutions, with the deadline for submission of expression of interest being 7th July 2025. The IFIs and the banks are invited to express their interest in financing EUR 1.91 billion for the respective Project.
Ministry of Finance has submitted the Request for Expression of Interest to the international financial institutions and the commercial banks on the basis of the Conclusion adopted by the Government. A Project Concept Note, prepared by the Ministry of Transport and the Macedonian Railways Infrastructure PE, also considered by the Government, is attached to the respective Request the Ministry of Finance submitted to the IFIs and the banks.
