1st May 2026, Skopje – Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, delivered an address at the meeting of the working group tasked with preparing the study on regulating crowdfunding, a model that is gaining considerable importance in supporting innovative businesses and entrepreneurial ideas.
Speaking to representatives of the institutions, the international partners, and the business sector, the Minister noted that crowdfunding provides an additional source of financing, particularly vital for small- and medium-sized enterprises. Thereby, she also highlighted that the aim is to put a transparent and secure regulatory framework in place, which will foster confidence among all participants.
“As part of this analysis, we will examine the European practices and design a solution tailored to the domestic market, thus opening new opportunities for economic development,” the Minister stated.
Following the completion of the study, the Ministry of Finance will commence the preparation of legal regulations to govern this area
