12th August 2025, Skopje - In accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Code, effective today, throughout the electoral cycle, Ministry of Finance will publish budget payments in a designated budget expenditure database, available on its official website.
Specifically, in accordance with the Electoral Code, Ministry of Finance is required to publish data on all budget payments in a designated database from the date the Election Decision is adopted until the completion of the electoral process – with the exception of regular payments such as wages, pensions and utility expenses.
In addition, within two weeks following the announcement of the elections, Ministry of Finance is also required to submit a pre-election financial report which will provide an overview of all projected and collected revenues and executed expenditures by budget item, covering the period from the beginning of the fiscal year up to the report’s submission date. The report will be published on Ministry of Finance’s official website.
On 9th August 2025, the President of the Parliament, Afrim Gashi, called for the local elections that will be held on 19th October.
