13th August 2025, Skopje - Ministry of Finance has disbursed the fifth tranche in the amount of Denar 700.9 million or EUR 11.3 million to the Development Bank, intended for the support of domestic companies.
The funds were transferred from the Budget, following the request submitted by the Development Bank, upon the approval of projects by the commercial banks.
A total of EUR 250 million has been projected in the 2025 Budget to support the domestic economy and local companies. To date, five tranches in the total amount of EUR 171.1 million have been disbursed. Funds for supporting the domestic economy were provided through the loan facility extended by the Hungarian Export Import Bank, with the objective of making them available under favourable terms and conditions, intended for investments in the private sector. At present, domestic companies have utilized 68% of the respective loan.
