9th January 2026, Skopje - Ministry of Finance disbursed a new tranche in the amount of Denar 424.9 million or EUR 6.9 million, from the Budget to the Development bank, as support to domestic companies.
Following the disbursement of this tranche, total government support to the domestic economy amounts to Denar 13.8 billion or EUR 224.3 million, out of the total projected EUR 250 million as support to the domestic companies.
The Government provided the funds under the Loan Facility from the Hungarian Export-Import Bank, aimed at supporting the domestic economy, by making the funds available under favourable terms and conditions for the companies, to the end of implementing private investments, thus strengthening the development of the businesses and boosting the economic growth. The funds are made available to the final beneficiaries through the commercial banks, with 1.95% annual interest rate, a repayment period of up to 15 years, including a 3-year grace period.
Total budget support for the domestic companies projected in the Budget amounts to EUR 250 million, with the value of the investment cycle being estimated at around EUR 300 million.
