3rd November 2026, Skopje - Today, Government adopted the amended Draft 2026 Supplementary Budget, incorporating several reallocations. The amended Draft was adopted following the debate in the Parliamentary Financing and Budget Commission and will now be submitted to Parliament for adoption at a plenary session.
Under the amended Supplementary Budget, reallocations have been made among budget users to align budget execution with projected expenditures by end of the year and to make the priority payments.
Under the proposed amendments, total Budget revenues are projected in the amount of Denar 374.2 billion, representing a decrease of approximately Denar 5.3 billion compared with the previous projections. Total expenditures are being reduced by the same amount, bringing the projected total to Denar 420.5 billion. Budget deficit remains at Denar 46.3 billion.
Under the Draft 2026 Supplementary Budget, economic growth for 2026 is projected at 4.3%.
Draft 2026 Supplementary Budget is intended to align with the evolving economic conditions, developments recorded throughout the year, and the actual pace of Budget expenditure execution.
