29th April 2026, Skopje – Today, at the Ministry of Finance, a training session was conducted on the topic “Submission of monthly data on the stock of debt of SOEs”, organized by the Public Finance Academy.
The training targeted employees in SOEs involved in debt reporting processes, with the aim of improving their knowledge and practical skills for the proper preparation of repayment schedules and the accurate M1 Form data entry – a monthly report on changes of the stock borrowing by the public debt issuer.
The training was delivered by an expert from the Public Debt Management Department, who, through an interactive approach combining theoretical insights and practical examples, facilitated a deeper understanding of the legal framework and procedures related to public debt reporting. A particular focus was placed on the accurate M1 Form data entry, as well as on the avoidance of the most common practical errors.
In addition, the participants had the opportunity to exchange experience and discuss the challenges they are facing when preparing and submitting data pertaining to borrowing. Through practical work and collaborative analysis good practices were identified for enhancing the reporting accuracy and timeliness.
The training session contributed to improving the quality of public debt data and strengthening institutional coordination in the reporting process.
In view of the relevance of the respective topic and the interest expressed by the institutions, the Public Finance Academy Department will continue organizing such trainings in the forthcoming period, with the aim of continuously advancing knowledge and practices in this field.
