In 2019, France expressed interest in active development cooperation with the Republic of North Macedonia through the French Development Agency – FAR, to be carried out through financial and technical support in the following areas: transport, infrastructure aligned with climate change, preservation of natural and cultural heritage and valuation of tourism.
