4th March 2025, Budapest – On Tuesday, at the Hungarian-North Macedonian Government Summit, Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, together with Minister of Transport and Communications, Aleksandar Nikoloski, had a meeting with Hungarian Minister of National Economy, Márton Nagy, and Minister of Construction and Transport, János Lázár, thereby confirming that both countries enjoy excellent economic and political relations with both parties being keen to enhance and deepen their cooperation.
Macedonian side highlighted the Government’s strong commitment to implementing public investments, particularly in the field of infrastructure. This year, substantial budget funds have been allocated as support to the respective investment plans. Hungarian support, extended in the form of a loan facility, was also highlighted as direct support to the domestic economy, fostering accelerated economic growth.
Ministers expressed their gratitude to the Hungarian Government for its unwavering support focused on the economic revitalization of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as our country’s EU integration process.
The meeting was scheduled as part of the two-day Hungarian-North Macedonian Government Summit, taking place in Budapest.
