5th March 2025, Skopje – According to Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, the 3.2% GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2024, marks the onset of the economy’s recovery and its gradual stabilization.”
“The economy is displaying notable signs of recovery and stabilization, driven by the policies our Government pursues.” The data on the 3.2% GDP growth recorded in the final quarter of 2024, published by the State Statistical Office, speak in favor thereof. “We inherited an economy experiencing stagnation, with 1.2% GDP growth in the first quarter, while accounting for 2.3% in the second quarter. Such state of affairs entailed prompt and immediate measures in the short run, to provide for the economic recovery, as well as focus on policies that boost the economic activity with average 5% growth rates”, Minister of Finance wrote on her Facebook profile.
She also stressed the investments as a key feature of this Government’s concept, which strategy will be sustained in the forthcoming period as well.
