Skopje, 30th May 2015 (MIA) – Ministry of Finance issued consent for transformation of the temporary employment in full-time employment for 2,667 persons working in the government institutions. This measure is gaining momentum, Minister Stavreski said, expecting for around 3,500 people to become full-time employees after completing the documentation.
– Most of them are in the field of health, i.e. around 1,360 persons, followed by the area of social protection and kindergartens, where about 500 persons had their employment transformed. There are 277 such persons in the education area. As per the cities, there are around 1.600 such persons in Skopje, as well as significant number of such people in the interior. For instance 194 persons in Bitola, 117 persons in Prilep, 100 persons in Ohrid and Tetovo each, as well as in all other cities, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski said for TV Sitel.
As a result of this measure, people who, in the meantime, acquired more than 10 years of experience of working in a government institution, have become full-time employees, and as Deputy Prime Minister said, their social security is greater now.
– Persons themselves, being employed on the basis of temporary contract, contractual agreement or as volunteers in the institutions for many years and performing significant tasks for these institutions, are now becoming full-time employees, meaning greater security and stability for them and their families, thus increasing their motivation to work, Stavreski said.
On the other hand, as he added, the employment transformation is beneficial for the country itself, since it gets experienced staff that will increase the quality of the work of the institutions.
