27th September 2024, Skopje –Public Finance Academy, a Department within the Min8istry of Finance, organized a training on the topic of: “Risk Management: significance of risk management, practical examples of strategic and operational risks in the public sector, risk assessment and risk register” intended for employees in the state administration bodies at central level.
Respective training’s purpose was to strengthen the skills and knowledge of public sector employees in view of recognizing and effectively managing risks throughout their day-to-day operations, by using state-of-the art methodologies and tools they may implement in their methods of work. The training’ approach is interactive, whereby the participants have the opportunity to acquire new skills through discussions, exercises and practical examples from the field in question.
The topic of this training is determined under the 2024 Annual Training Program, being carried out by the certified trainer, Mite Mitevski, holding the position of Head of Public Internal Financial Control Department, within the Ministry of Finance.
Ministry of Finance will, via Public Finance Academy, keep organizing public sector training courses in the field of public finance on regular basis, by following the European and international trends. The goal is to create a modern and professional administration, which will be able to render high-quality and fast services to both citizens and business entities.
