Ten best students in each generation at the Faculty of Economics in Skopje will be offered employment with the Ministry of Finance, while 20 and so student will be offered volunteering in government institutions.
 
Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, on behalf of the Government, offered such cooperation at today’s meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ljubomir Kekenovski.
 
– Students can gain practical experience, and government institutions will create closer relationship with the students at the Faculty of Economics in terms of their future engagement, Minister Stavreski said after the meeting.
 
As Finance Minister pointed out, such cooperation is of benefit for both parties by improving the qualifications of the persons getting employed in the public sector, thus uniting the science and the state to the end of improving administration quality.
 
As Dean Kekenovski said, this is productive cooperation, as well as compliment paid to the Faculty of Economics generating the best students.
 
– This would be of benefit for the students who would be able, through interaction between government institutions and economic theory and knowledge, to make and implement decisions based on economic knowledge they acquire, Kekenovski said, pointing out that the offered cooperation is the first public-public partnership.
