High-level government delegation, headed by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, comprising Minister without portfolio responsible for attracting foreign investments, Bill Pavleski, and Chief Executive Office of the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones, Viktor Mizo, will present today investment opportunities in Macedonia to the businessmen in Hyderabad, economic center of the Indian state Andhra Pradesh.

 

Andhra Pradesh is one of the economically most developed states out of the 28 states in India, with a population of 70 million inhabitants. Hyderabad is considered to be the major global hub of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and real estate business.

Vice Prime Minister Stavreski and member of the Macedonian delegation presented today, to 80 companies, the opportunities Macedonia offered to foreign investors. It was pointed out that Macedonia was a country with lowest taxes in Europe, as well as one of the best business destinations with a good business climate, as indicated on many occasions by the relevant international institutions.

Indian companies, seeking to enter the European market, showed large interest in the conditions Macedonia offered to investors. Contacts were established and the process is expected to continue by having the Indian companies visit the country, to see the opportunities offered on the filed.

This is the fourth destination in India where government delegation presented the investment opportunities. Presentations were also held in New Delhi, Bangalore and Trivandrum. Tomorrow, government delegation continues to present investment opportunities to the Indian businessmen in Chennai as well.
