Skopje, 4th January 2013 (MIA) – January pension was paid in full today. Amount paid is three billion 91 million denars to 279,197 pensioners, beneficiaries of old-age, survival and disability pensions, Ministry of Finance announced.
Social welfare was paid yesterday to 34,008 beneficiaries of social pecuniary welfare and 26,540 beneficiaries of third party care.
– Ministry of Finance would like to thank the pensioners and social welfare beneficiaries for their support in the adoption of the Budget and its financing, which created basis for regular payment and, starting March, increase of pensions and social welfare, it was stated in the press release.
Despite the crisis, the press release said, Ministry of Finance and the Government will continue, even in this crisis situation, the support and the regular payment of pensions and social welfare.
