2nd September 2019, Skopje – New Minister of Finance Nina Angelovska overtakes the Ministry of Finance today.
Minister met the Deputy Minister of Finance Shiret Elezi and the State Secretary Julijana Petanovska, when the ongoing activities of the Ministry of Finance were discussed.
Angelovska has previously worked in the business sector. She is founder of “Grouper” – company for e-commerce. She received a doctorate in management of the Faculty of Economics in Skopje. She has numerous domestic and foreign certificates of acknowledgment. The German Magazine “The Hundert” ranked her among the 100 Female Startup Founders Europe, and Forbes honored her with the 30 Under 30 award for Europe in the retail sale and e-commerce category. In 2017, Angelovska initiated the establishment of the first Macedonian e-Commerce Association, becoming its president. As of 2018, Angelovska has been the member of the Management Board of the European eCommerce and Omni Channel Trade Association EMOTA. In 2019, she also became member of the Management Board of the Economic Chamber of Macedonia.
In an interview for MIA, Angelovska underlined that efforts will be put for relaizing projects that will contribute to both economic growth and reduce unemployment. She pointed out that the ambitious agenda and reforms are expected within the Ministry, such as the measure for stimulating the wage growth, envisaged under the upcoming Supplementary Budget.
