Ministry of Finance paid Denar 305.2 million as subsidies for growing agricultural crops to 18,688 farmers.
Financial support per hectare arable agricultural land for agricultural crops amounts to Denar 9,000.

Subsidies were paid to farmers growing wheat, barley, maize, rye, oats, rise, triticale, lentil, peanuts, soya, rapeseed, fodder beet, opium poppy, sweet pea, esparcette, field peas, chick-pea and lucerne throughout the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.
Government, by regularly paying subsidies to farmers, remains committed to supporting the agriculture, which is one of the driving branches of Macedonian economy.
