Angelci, 11th December 2014 (MIA) – Multipurpose sports ground, part of the Government “Project for Construction of 100 Multipurpose Sports Grounds”, was commissioned in the village of Angelci, Vasilevo Municipality, today.
It was officially put into operation by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Dime Spasov, Director of the Youth and Sports Agency, Marjan Spaseski, and Vasilevo Mayor, Vanco Stojanov.
Multipurpose sports ground (32nd out of the total 100) covers an area of 1,340 square meters, it was built according to all standards, Denar 7 million investment by the Government, realized through the Youth and Sports Agency.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, underlined that construction of this sports ground spoke of keeping the promises made before the elections.
– I remember the day when foundations were laid and the criticism that all this was done merely for the elections. However, we have kept the promise and this is an achievement to be of benefit for the children here in Angelci, which are priority for the Government, Stavreski said.
According to him, all this contributes to creating better conditions than the ones earlier, as well as better conditions for all future generations.
– This sports ground will develop talents, children will hang together, compete and learn how to handle the defeats. I am always pleased when we do something good for our citizens, even more when it is a matter of the children, Stavreski added.
According to the Director of the Youth and Sports Agency, this sports ground will be used to its maximum capacity by the children in this village.
– Youth and Sports Agency has realized many infrastructure projects, among which the Project for Construction of 35 Sports Halls, 32 out of which have already been put into operations, the Project for Construction of 50 Football Pitches, the Project for Construction of 100 Multipurpose Sports Grounds and Construction of Tennis Courts, Spaseski said, adding that these projects have certainly changed the sports map in Macedonia.
Foundations were laid for the multipurpose sports ground in the Village of Sedlarci, Vasilevo Municipality, which is to be completed in three months. This investment is in the amount of Denar 2.5 million, funds provided by the Municipality of Vasilevo.
In addition to the multipurpose sports ground, double tennis court is also being built in Angelci, which, according to Mayor Stojanov, together with the park the municipality built, will transform this space into a sports arena.
