17th July 2014 – Today, on the international capital market, Republic of Macedonia issued Eurobond in the amount of EUR 500 million with 7-year maturity period, i.e. until July 2021.
Demand from investors for Macedonian bond amounted to EUR 1,160 million, i.e. twice higher than the offer. This provided for achieving 4.25% yield to maturity, i.e. 3.975% interest rate on annual basis.
This is historically the lowest interest rate at which Macedonia has issued bond on the international capital market.
