Prilep, 28th November 2014 (MIA) – High growth of industrial production, announced by the State Statistics Office, is a result, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, of the sound tax policy and the business climate.
He underlined that only Macedonia and Ireland, from among the countries in Europe, experience high and continuous industrial growth.
– Macedonian industry has gathered a good momentum. It experiences continuous growth 14 month in a row. Recent data on 7.5% growth or total of more than 5% growth for the ten months speak of the sound policies, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, said during today’s visit to Prilep.
He went on by saying that growth was also a result of the companies operating in the free zones, as well as the domestic industry, above all the textile and the metal industries, which experienced solid and good growth.
Deputy Prime Minister expects for the high economic growth rates in the industry and the other sectors to be kept in the coming period as well.
