Kavadarci, 31st March 2016 (MIA) – According to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, industrial production growth of 15.2% realized in February is a good performance and an excellent start, setting expectations and hope that overall economic growth this year will be favourable.
– Government policies implemented in the past years have created good basis for a constant growth of the economy by supporting the domestic companies, through series of measures being undertaken, the lowest taxes in the world, projects such as “Macedonia Employs”, exempting the companies from paying taxes on reinvested profit, as well as policies in the field of loans under favourable terms and conditions and high capital investments. We also have the foreign companies contributing to the growth of the economy, Stavreski said during today’s visit to Kavadarci.
He added that all this created basis to believe that Macedonian economy would continue growing with a high rate which, as he said, is important for the citizens, since, through high economic growth, they could expect new investments, new job openings and unemployment reduction.
