Skopje, 15th July 2013 (MIA) – Delegation headed by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, presented investment opportunities to the business community in Liverpool today.
As Ministry of Finance announced, businessmen were pointed out the exceptionally favourable conditions Macedonia, as a business destination, offers to foreign investors.
Vice Prime Minister Stavreski presented the tax policy in the country, according to which Macedonia has the lowest tax rates in Europe. In addition, favourable business climate in the country was presented, being recognized by many relevant global factors, the reforms implemented in the doing business procedures under which they are simplified and accelerated, as well as the advantages offered to the investors by the technological and industrial zones.
Liverpool Chamber of Commerce was the host of the economic team.
Government economic team, also comprising the Minister for Attracting Foreign Investments, Vele Samak, and CEO of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion, Visar Fida, also had bilateral meetings with many companies, and the delegation visited two of the largest companies in Liverpool engaged the in field of food industry and retail sale.
Delegation, headed by Vice Prime Minister Stavreski, will also present the investment opportunities to the business community in Leeds, Sheffield and London.
