Unemployment may be reduced only by new investments and business climate improvement, both in Prilep and the whole country, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski said during his visit to Prilep, when asked how unemployment will be reduced.
 
Stavreski explained that establishment of industrial zone in Prilep will be approved, where new plants would be opened and where, as he pointed out, hundreds and even more thousands of new jobs are expected.
 
– We will realize the Cebren and Galiste HPP Project as envisaged, being one of the major projects for this region, by which around 2000 jobs will be created and the infrastructure will be improved so as for Prilep to be both more attractive for investments and better connected with the other regions, as well as with Skopje, thereby realizing what we announced – construction of the highway road – Stavreski said.
 
According to him, as for starting an investment cycle in our county, it is necessary to establish industrial zones in the cities.
 
– At government level, the policies conducted as regards low taxes, sale of land at the price of one euro in terms of forcing establishment of industrial zones in all cities, are certainly key in starting such investment cycle. In the period to come , the Government will even more encourage the domestic investors, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance pointed out.
 
He believes that the Government will focus to a great extent on the domestic investments in the coming period.(MIA)
