Skopje, 11th December (MIA) – Today, Ministry of Finance paid Denar 62.5 million as subsidies for sold tobacco to 2,952 tobacco growers.
– It is a matter of tobacco purchased from tobacco producers from all points of purchase in the period 26th February—15th March, i.e. the period when the payment of subsidies was halted due to the provisions in the Electoral Code, Ministry of Finance press release stated.
Government of the Republic of Macedonia and the Ministry of Finance, as added, remain committed to supporting agriculture as driving branch in Macedonian business sector.
