Children – wards of “11 Oktomvri” Orphanage from Skopje received seized footwear, cosmetics products and clothing on Saturday. The donation, being part of the action of the Government for seized goods by the Customs Administration, was delivered by Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski, and Customs Administration Director, Vanco Kargov.
 
– This is part of the action of the Government, which included donating smuggled goods to 17 social centers throughout the country, and was a result of the fight against corruption and crime. In cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, large quantities of smuggled goods were seized and were donated to these children, Minister Stavreski said, adding that efforts to improve the living conditions of the vulnerable categories will continue in future.
 
As Government, he pointed out, we reached decision to extend Denar 18,000 each month to children turning 18, who have decided to study. The objective, as Stavreski explained, is for they, by acquiring proper education, to get employed and form families.
 
Within this government action, objects and goods were also donated in Skopje on Saturday by Vice Prime Minister in charge of Economic Affairs, Vladimir Pesevski, Minister of Justice, Mihajlo Manevski, Minister of Internal Affairs, Gordana Jankulovska, Minister of Health, Bujar Osmani, and Minister of Education and Science, Nikola Todorov.
 
Part of the government ministers also donated goods throughout the country. Vice Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Vasko Naumovski, visited the Inter-Municipal Center for Social Works in Ohrid and donated assistance to this institution. (MIA)
