18th December 2024, Skopje – Ministry of Finance and American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), each within their vision, mission and goals, will act jointly, strengthen their business relationship and exchange experience by virtue of the Memorandum of Understanding, signed today by the Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, and AmCham Executive Director, Jelena Arsovska.
“Signing of this Memorandum opens a new chapter in the mutual cooperation with the business community represented by the American Chamber of Commerce. Ministry of Finance, together with AmCham, will work on encouraging, supporting, and providing logistics for, cooperation in areas of mutual interest, organizing workshops, training sessions and other forms of upskilling, exchange of experience, vocational training, as well as project implementation”, Minister of Finance said.
Memorandum of Understanding opens up opportunities for AmCham to play a part in both the education and the professional development of public sector employees with the support of the Public Finance Academy. This initiative encourages cooperation which will provide for utilizing new knowledge, as well as resources and expertise, in the processes of training and development of the public institutions’ capacities.
Signing the Memorandum is part of Ministry’s commitment to building partnership with the business community and creating preconditions for enhanced cooperation. The goal is to strengthen state institutions’ capacities with the support of the Public Finance Academy, and the opportunities it offers to be also exploited by the private sector.
