Washington, 24-th of April (MIA)Macedonian Delegation headed by Vice Prime Minister Zoran Stavreski and Minister of Finance Trajko Slaveski will attend IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings, to commence today in Washington D.C.

During the three-day meetings, Vice Prime Minister Stavreski and Minister Slaveski will meet World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Mr.Shigeo Katsu,IMF Deputy Managing Director Mr. Takatoshi Kato, World Bank Executive Director Mr. Rudolf Jan Treffers, IMF Executive Director Mr. Age F.P. Bakker, with IMF Mission Chief for Macedonia, Mr. Wes McGrew, as well as World Bank Country Director and Regional Coordinator for Southeast Europe, Jane Armitage.

Macedonian Delegation will also participate in the regular Netherlands IMF/World Bank Constituency meeting, where the Republic of Macedonia is a member.

Topics at IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings are estimates of the global crisis implications and the role of international financial institutions.
