As regards the requests of the business community for reducing the interest rate on treasury bills, Ministry of Finance reduced the interest rate by 0.3% at today’s auction. Interest rate on six-month treasury bills with foreign exchange clause is reduced from 4.7% to 4.4% and from 5% to 4.7% on those with Denar clause. It is a matter of historically the lowest interest rates on six-month treasury bills.
 
Today, treasury bills without foreign exchange clause were sold in the amount of Denar 1,440,000,000 and treasury bills with foreign exchange clause in the amount of Denar 682,290,000.
 
Ministry will also return Denar 1,983,590,000, falling due on 8th September.
