Skopje, 24th October 2014 (MIA) – During the last three days, more than 50,000 visitors inquired about the First Fair for “Buy a House, Buy a Flat“ Project held in Skopje City Mall.
The Fair started on 24th October, and the interested citizens could obtain information on the flats offered and included in the Project, as well as on the possibility for subsidized housing loan extended through the commercial banks.
The citizens showed interest in the Project, assessing it as an excellent one. According to the visitors, the offers are interesting. They visited the Fair so as to obtain more information and to make the decision. Some of them were interested in buying their first home, while others were interested in obtaining more comfort by buying a bigger flat that the one they already had.
Construction companies also pointed out that the interest was large and that 20,000 visitors attended the Fair per day.
The Project was promoted in January 2012. So far, 340 citizens resolved their housing issues, and the state aid amounted to EUR 2.5% million. As a result of the interest shown, the Project will continue next year as well. Citizens are offered two models: 50/50 installment when buying a flat or subsidizing 75% of the installment buying/constructing a house, and equal (50%/50%) participation when buying a flat or subsidizing 75% of the participation when buying/constructing a house.
