Skopje, 9th December 2014 (MIA) – New Fair for “Buy a House, Buy a Flat“ Project will be held in the period 20th December – 28th December in Skopje. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski believes that such direct way yields results and that 50 applications were approved in a single month.
– We will again gather the banks through which the Project is realized, as well as the construction companies and the Ministry of Finance at one place, thus providing an opportunity for the citizens to get the information they need in a more relaxing atmosphere, where they can consider the advantages, as well as the high amount of subsidies offered. Every citizen can obtain support amounting from EUR 9.000 to EUR 14,000 through this Project, Minister of Finance said, answering journalist’s question at the signing of the Agreement with Karpos Municipality within MSIP.
He believes that this will provide for resuming the good trend that commenced at the first fair held at the end of October and that 50 applications were approved in November alone.
– This means by having both direct contact and all information in one place the goal is achieved, that being for the citizens considering the resolving of their housing issue, to decide to do so and to be able to obtain all information in one place, Stavreski said.
He stressed that one of the benefits of the Project was also the reduction of interest rate on the market, which together with other factors contributed for them to be at historically the lowest level for the housing loans in the Republic of Macedonia.
He added that the Project will continue to be promoted so as to make it closer to the citizens through direct marketing and direct meetings with them.
Around 400 applications were approved through the Project. New flat may be sold or a house may be built.
