Around 725 vehicles, previously having foreign registration plates, have been registered so far. It is around 10 percents of the total number of vehicles imported in the past period, Stavreski said after the ceremony in the Customs Administration, celebrating its 18-year existence.

He believes that in the coming period, when information campaign on the advantages of legal solutions is planned, registration compliance will intensify and more and more citizens will prepare the necessary registration documents.

He appealed for the citizens to use this opportunity and not to wait September, when the legal provisions enter into force, in line with which citizens cannot drive these vehicles more than six months during the year. (MIA)
