Skopje, 27th December 2014 (MIA) – Industry has intensified and there are constant positive information that the production grows, showing that this is a trend reflecting the strength and resilience of Macedonian industry.

This was announced today by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski at the weekend event organized within the “Buy a House Buy a Flat” Fair, held in the City Mall “Ramstore”, commenting on the positive industrial growth in the country, announced by the State Statistics Office.

– In such troubled times in Europe, when European industry and demand was not at satisfactory level, Macedonian industry has still experienced positive results, Stavreski said.

This is also a result, as he stressed, of the foreign companies operating in the free zones, the Government policies aimed at attracting foreign investors, as well as preserving good business climate in the country.

– By keeping lowest taxes in the world and by providing assistance to the domestic companies through cheap loans with 5.5% interest rate, we helped them achieve positive results, Stavreski pointed out, adding that he expects for 2015 to be also good year in terms of Macedonian industry.
