Kocani, 9th December 2013 (MIA) – Republic of Macedonia will continue with the implementation of South Stream, as it was announced, thus encouraging the European Commission and Russia to launch a direct dialogue, i.e. Gazprom and EC to resolve all issues the European Commission has raised regarding the implementation of this large international project, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Zoran Stavreski said today in Kocani.
Answering journalists’ questions, Stavreski pointed out that the project is not only of economic and social significance, but it is also important for improving the competitiveness of all countries included in its realization.
– I expect for the European Commission and Gazprom to solve the open issues through a direct dialogue, Deputy Prime Minister Stavreski pointed out after commissioning the two streets in Kocani.
