Tokyo, 11th October 2012 (MIA) – Macedonian delegation including Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Zoran Stavreski and Governor of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia Dimitar Bogov participated at the regular Meetings of the World Bank (WB) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Thursday, being held in Tokyo this year.
It is envisaged, as the Ministry of Finance announced, for the Minister Stavreski to meet the Vice President of the World Bank Philippe Leru, the Executive Director of IMF Menno Snel, the new Governor of CEB Rolf Wenzel and other WB and IMF high representatives.
Autumn meetings of the IMF and the World Bank are held every year. Ministers of Finance and Governors of the Central Banks of the Member States attend them, discussing the current developments in the global economy.
