4th March 2021, Skopje – Under the Ministry of Finance, technical opportunity has been created, by which budget revenues and expenditures could be monitored on a daily basis, Minister Fatmir Besmi said at today’s press conference.
In the light of transparency and accountability, in particular from the aspect of public finance, Ministry of Finance has created the opportunity to publish budget revenues and expenditures, as well as the Budget balance, on a daily basis. These will be preliminary data – Besimi said.
Minister of Finance also pointed out that this would provide for boosting the confidence and increasing the transparency, whereby the citizens will have insight into how all public funds are spent, as well as the impact on the economy therefrom.
