30th June 2024, Skopje – Government meeting was held with Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski and Minister of Local Self-Government, Zlatko Perinski pertaining to the manner of allocating the municipal funds.
“EUR 100 million has been provided for infrastructural development in 2024 alone, with the additional EUR 250 million to be allocated in 2025. Immediately upon the Supplementary Budget and the Government’s decision to be adopted by the end of next month, the municipalities will have the possibility to apply for funds intended for capital investment”, the Minister published on her Facebook profile.
The funds are geared towards capital projects such as schools, kindergartens, water supply and sewerage systems, road infrastructure, and so forth.
