1st July 2024, Skopje – Today, Minister of Finance, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska met the US Ambassador, Angela Price Aggeler in Ministry of Finance’s premises.
At the meeting, the emphasis was put on the significance of the support the USA extends to the Ministry and our country as a whole, as well as our mutual cooperation, which will be further deepened and strengthened.
“USA is our country’s strategic partner since the independence thereof, which will prevail in the future. This is of key importance for promoting this country’s democratic processes, improving the rule of law, attaining economic prosperity and providing greater stability and its development”, Minister Dimitrieska-Kochoska said.
She also asserted that much work is ahead of us, thereby stressing this Government’s strong commitment to carrying out the reforms, being crucial for this country’s future, whereby the support extended by our strategic partners, such as the USA plays vital role in their implementation.
The partakers of the meeting reiterated the support provided by the US Treasury to the Ministry of Finance in building the institution’s capacities in providing stability as regards public finance, as well as fiscal sustainability.
