24th October 2017, Skopje – Ministry of Finance started a reform process, by which the liquidity management will be enhanced.  This is within the Ministry’s efforts aimed at better-quality public finance management.

International Monetary Fund provided support to these activities through consultations and the IMF Mission in the country, which should give proposals for strengthening the capacities.

Today, Ministry of Finance team headed by Minister Dragan Tevdovski and the IMF Mission held final meeting, during which, the current developments as regards management and planning of the liquidity, the activities undertaken for improving the system, the challenges and the priority reforms were discussed.

During the Mission, the IMF also held meetings with Deputy Minister of Finance Shyrete Elezi, representatives from the Treasury Department and the Department for International Financial Relations, Cooperation with the EU and  Public Debt Management.
