Primary task of the Accounting and Financial Affairs Department is performing activities related to accounting and financial operations, budget coordination and control.

The Department also performs the following: accounting records, financial and operating activities, preparation and calculation of salaries, accounting operations, receiving, recording and issuing office supplies and sundries, preparation of draft Budget of the Ministry, preparation of financial plans, proposals for reallocation of funds and Supplementary Budget of the Ministry, carrying out ex-ante and ex-post financial control.
