6th August 2017, Skopje – At the plenary session held today, MPs adopted 2017 Supplementary Budget.
Under the Supplementary Budget, revenues and expenditures are revised downwards by Denar 2.9 billion, while economic growth is projected to account for 2.2% of GDP.
As Minister of Finance said in his address, non-productive costs, travel-related expenses and costs related to advertising and promotions were reduced the most.
Introducing expenditure cuts at the non-productive costs would provide for financing other measures aimed at supporting the citizens or the domestic companies, as well as increasing the minimum wage, providing solution to the redundant and bankruptcy workers, supporting small- and medium-sized enterprises and farmers, abolishing the broadcasting fee, etc.
